Oggi gran festa al Campo Sportivo dell'A.S.D. Coiano Santa Lucia A.C.

Oggi come artista mi sento grata e contenta... contenta perché come già sapete una mia opera è presente presso il Calciocaffé Coianosantalucia, e oggi è stato il giorno degli auguri di Natale in cui l'A.S.D. Coiano Santa Lucia A.C. ha organizzato un incontro con gli atleti, le famiglie, la stampa della mia città e i rappresentanti delle istituzioni locali.

Oggi io e mio marito Carl abbiamo scattato diverse foto, qui ne pubblico solo alcune in ricordo di questa giornata memorabile.

La mia opera The Young And The Hope figura infatti nella foto scelta dalla Società per realizzare il cartellone con gli auguri alla città. La foto fa da sfondo al gruppo con i giovani atleti.

Io qui voglio ringraziare tutti.

Tutti quanti hanno voluto apprezzare il messaggio della mia arte.

In questo post sono stata piuttosto attenta e rispettosa e ho pubblicato solo foto che evitano di inquadrare volti dei giovani atleti.
Tra gli adulti si possono riconoscere il Presidente dell'A.S.D. Coiano Santa Lucia A.C. Roberto Macrì e il Direttore artistico e Presentatore Mattia di Vivona che ringrazio di cuore. E con loro ringrazio sentitamente tutta la Società e la gentile Roberta Ullian che ha scoperto per prima e ha scelto la mia arte per il bancone del bar. Nonché tutte le persone che oggi mi hanno salutata.

(Se nonostante la mia attenzione posso aver pubblicato foto in maniera non gradita, sono pronta a rimuoverle.)

 Io sono contenta che il messaggio della mia arte arrivi a quante più persone possibili, un messaggio di pace e fratellanza che è perfetto in un luogo dove si pratica sport.

Infatti lo sport è pace e cultura.

Today, as an artist I feel grateful and happy... happy because as you already know one of my works is exposed permanently at the Calciocaffé Coianosantalucia, and today was the day of Christmas greetings in which the AC Coiano Santa Lucia has organized a meeting with the athletes, families, the press and tv of my city and representatives of local institutions. 

Today me and my husband and Carl we took several photos, here are just a few in memory of this beautiful day. My artwork The Young And The Hope is therefore included in the A.C. Coiano Santa Lucia's image to achieve the billboard with the best wishes to the city. My artwork is in the background to the group with the young athletes. 

I want to thank everyone here. All those who wanted to appreciate the message of my art. 

In this post I was quite careful and respectful and I only published pictures that avoid to frame the faces of the young athletes. Among adults you can recognize the President of the A.S.D. Coiano Santa Lucia A.C. Roberto Macrì and the Artistic Director and Presenter Mattia Vivona whom I warmly thank. And with them I sincerely thank all of the A.S.D. Coiano Santa Lucia A.C., the Calciocaffè Coianosantalucia and the kind Roberta Ullian who discovered first and chose my art for the bar. And also I thank all the people who have welcomed me today. 

(If in spite of my carefulness I may have published photos in an unwelcome way, I am ready to remove them.)I am glad that the message of my art can reach as many people as possible, a message of peace and brotherhood that is perfect in a place where young people practice sport. 

In fact, sport is peace and culture.

Roberta Ullian mentre allestisce il buffet per la festa di Natale. Ho scelto questa foto perché è particolarmente bella, c'è una luce speciale. Facendo fotografie ho imparato che anche una foto fuori fuoco può essere perfetta.

La mia è un'arte veloce, immediata, fatta soprattutto di colori e linee semplici ma vere e piene di significato.

I disegni escono dalla mia mano spontaneamente. Ognuno è libero o libera di vedere nelle mie opere ciò che suggeriscono le memorie e diverse esperienze di vita.

Da parte mia i messaggi sono semplici: l'importanza dell'amore, della pace, dell'amicizia, della speranza... l'importanza dei valori che ci fanno crescere come esseri umani.


I colori parlano a tutte le culture, un po' come la musica. In questo caso il colore viola rappresenta la spiritualità... la spiritualità e la propensione all'altruismo e alla pace. L'arcobaleno rappresenta la pace, la comunicazione gioiosa e l'amicizia (l'arcobaleno infatti scaturisce dal cuore che il giovane tiene in mano). Il mondo è la nostra casa comune di cui ci dobbiamo prendere cura. Io disegno prevalentemente personaggi giovani perché in realtà io vedo giovani in tutte le persone... infatti l'anima non ha età. 



My art is fast, immediate, made mostly of color and simple lines but real and meaningful.

The designs come out of my hand spontaneously. Everyone is free to see in my works what is suggested by memories and different life experiences.

  From my part the messages are simple: the importance of love, peace, friendship, hope ... the importance of the values that make us grow as human beings.


The colors speak to all cultures, a bit like music. In this case the color purple represents spirituality... spirituality and the propensity for altruism and peace. The rainbow represents peace, joyful communication and friendship (the rainbow in fact springs from the heart that the young man is holding). The world is our common home that we must take care of. I draw mainly young people because in reality I see young people in all people ... in fact the soul has no age.

Quella collina è parte dei monti della Calvana ed è conosciuta con il nome Retaia. La Retaia è un po' un monte sacro per Prato (mi si passi il termine)... sarà per la sua forma particolare, sarà perché sulla cima si trova una bella Croce che guarda e protegge la città. Comunque... tutti - consciamente o inconsciamente - fanno riferimento a questa collina. Mi ricordo che anche mio nonno, il papà di mio padre, guardava sempre la collina e commentava sulle sue difficoltà o facilità di osservare la Croce sulla vetta. La mia cameretta dove sono cresciuta aveva la finestra che guardava questa collina, mentre oggi le mie finestre guardano a Occidente. Da bambina e da ragazza mi gustavo il sorgere del sole... a quei tempi non scattavo foto... ma le immagini del sole sono rimaste nel mio cuore. Oggi, come ben sapete, scatto foto... e prevalentemente scatto foto dei tramonti. Oggi dalle mie finestre ammiro colline e montagne che si vedono guardando a Ovest e Nord-Ovest. Tutte le colline e le montagne mi ispirano... e anche quelle che circondano Prato sono tutte particolari e belle.

That hill is part of the Calvana mountains and is known as Retaia. The Retaia is a bit 'a sacred mountain for Prato ... maybe for its particular form, or maybe  because on the top there is a beautiful cross that looks and protects the city. Anyway ... everyone - consciously or unconsciously - refer to this hill. I remember my grandfather, the father of my father, always looked at the hill and commented on the ease or difficulty of observing the cross on the summit. My room had a window towards East and I grew up watching this hill, but now my windows look to the West. As a child and and as a young girl I enjoyed the sun rise ... in those days I didn't take pictures... but the images of all those sunrises remained in my heart. Today, as you know, I take photos... and mainly I take pictures of sunsets. Today from my windows I admire hills and mountains that are seen looking to the West and North-West. All the hills and mountains inspire me ... and also those around Prato they are all unique and beautiful.

Happy moments don't arrive by accident... they are created with a solid light in the heart. And this solid light arrives only after a long work.

Mattia: Da pochi giorni gli ambienti hanno subito

un importante restyling, il bancone che vediamo qui alle nostre

spalle è stato impreziosito da questa bellissima

opera dell'artista Vanessa Schlachtaub Bruni ed è diventato

anche di colore bianco, benvenuta Vanessa.

Vanessa: Grazie, Buongiorno

Mattia: The Young And The Hope, questo è il titolo dell'opera,

un titolo importante e significativo dato che possiamo

definire questo luogo il tempio dei giovani, il tempio della gioventù.

Un messaggio di speranza e pace per tutte le persone che quotidianamente

con passione e dedizione frequentano l'impianto sportivo del Coiano Santa Lucia.

Vanessa, parlaci un po' della tua opera.

Vanessa: La mia opera viene fuori dall'artista che io sono, l'arte

è un lavoro di coscienza prima di tutto e io fino da piccola

sono stata una meditatrice naturale. Gli artisti 

hanno un percorso di autoriconoscimento che è

altrettanto importante che quello che può venire

dall'esterno. E specialmente in una città bella, ma comunque

industriale come la nostra Prato, una città di radici industriali,

per una persona può essere particolarmente difficoltoso

riconoscere la propria natura di artista e questo specialmente

per una donna.

Nella mia famiglia ci sono radici artistiche, però sono state

radici un po' nascoste, mio nonno era un artista naturale, faceva

degli affreschi però dovette rinunciare a questa attitudine;

anche mia mamma, mia madre, io lo vedo da ora... da ora io posso

vedere che mia madre sarebbe stata un'artista. E così questa

attitudine la riconosco in me stessa, però prima di arrivare ad esprimere

questa arte, per arrivare a dare dignità all'opera dell'arte, ho dovuto fare

un riconoscimento [di questa mia attitudine], perché bisogna dire

che spesso gli artisti sono ignorati, sono ignorati e anche vengono scambiati  

per qualcos'altro. Diciamo che noi artisti siamo meditatori... quindi una

persona silenziosa, che osserva, che medita proprio, spesso viene scambiata

per una persona un po' bizzarra.

Però in realtà fin da piccola io ho sempre pensato a poche cose

e queste poche cose erano la pace nel mondo e i diritti umani.

E io queste cose le ho sempre dette, e anche mi ricordo

anche nei miei temi alle scuole elementari ero sempre a 

parlare di queste cose. E quindi - per farla breve - questa

mia vita che è stata una ricerca artistica a un certo punto

si è rivelata per quello che era anche a me stessa

e questo è accaduto nel 2010. Perché ho sentito una grande passione.

Io ho sempre disegnato, però dal 2010 ho avuto proprio la passione

dell'arte, io non potevo smettere di disegnare, disegnavo tantissimo 

perché avevo tante cose da dire. Io volevo proprio dire

dei messaggi di pace, di amicizia, di fratellanza, di eguaglianza e rispetto

tra uomo e donna. E ho detto a me stessa: queste cose devono essere

dette, devono essere trasmesse, sono messaggi che arrivano

alla coscienza, perché l'arte è un lavoro di coscienza. E quindi

quando io parlo di arte parlo di messaggi di cui io mi fo canale.

Un artista è un canale che riceve dei messaggi dalla coscienza

che comunque è la coscienza di tutti, la coscienza collettiva.

E quindi ricevo questi messaggi, li tratto con rispetto, perché 

comunque riconoscere il messaggio artistico è una cosa

importante. E comunque l'espressione di questa arte è 

divenuta più semplice anche da quando ho scoperto il media 

digitale. Quella è stata una svolta, perché io 

fino ad allora avevo usato i colori acrilici ma anche semplici

pennarelli, perchè io dal 2010 avevo bisogno di disegnare

e io prendevo qualunque cosa mi capitava: penne, di tutto.

Però poi, la scoperta grazie a mio marito Carl (perché la sua famiglia

ha una tradizione di arte e fotografia) che ha trovato questi software,

software di disegno, me li ha passati e così io ho cominciato a fare

disegni con il media digitale e mi sono trovata benissimo. 

Questo (The Young And The Hope) è un disegno fatto con un 

software che mi permette di disegnare normalmente.

Il mio modo di fare arte è molto grafico, infatti mi avevano anche

suggerito - e ho anche frequentato - corsi di acquaforte. Però

in realtà la mia energia è molto immediata e quindi questo

media digitale mi permette prima di tutto di esprimere dei colori

magnifici perché sono colori che vengono dalla luce.

Mattia: Colori decisi, non c'è spazio per l'interpretazione, è un colore

diretto.

Vanessa: L'energia elettrica, la luce, il mio quadro infatti

nasce nella mia fantasia. Io infatti sono un'artista che lavora

molto con la fantasia. Io nel 2010 ho fatto un anno di 

meditazione, io meditavo giorno e notte e da quel momento

ho visto che veramente la mia mente riceveva 

tante cose, tanti messaggi giusti, di colori, di forme e tramite proprio

questa cosa del disegno, e tramite dei simboli perché i miei quadri

sono molto simbolici: l'arcobaleno... io in realtà disegno sempre

poche cose, io disegno coppie perché per me la coppia è 

il simbolo di rispetto tra uomo e donna, di amore, di amicizia.

Io disegno giovani... prevalentemente giovani... anche perché

l'anima non ha età. Io in realtà vedo giovani in tutte le persone. 

E poi il mondo, in questo caso, il mondo in cui viviamo tutti.

E quindi questo lavoro con il viola, per me il viola è il colore

della spiritualità, una spiritualità però senza etichette, una spiritualità

che comprende tutti, tutte le culture. La mia arte è rivolta a 

tutte le culture. E quindi questo viola, l'arcobaleno che è la

pace e l'amicizia, il cuore che rappresenta i sentimenti.

Sono stata molto contenta perché come artista [è una fortuna] trovare

una persona come Roberta che vede la mia arte perché tra l'altro

Roberta è un'artista anche lei. Perché a dire la verità solo

un artista può vedere un altro artista. 

Io sono contenta perché una mia creazione è in un luogo

visitato da tanti giovani e io so che i colori trasmettono

anche senza parole. I colori sono forme di meditazione

elementari e quindi solamente guardando un colore

c'è una sintonia su certi valori, su certi sentimenti.

Mattia: posso dirlo personalmente, io frequento questo bar

ogni settimana, ma da quando c'è questa tua opera ed è stato

cambiato il colore del bancone si sente un'altra energia.

L'energia di questo locale è cambiata. Come un colore bianco

e un'opera dai colori così decisi possono cambiare totalmente

l'energia di un luogo ed era questo penso il tuo obbiettivo.

Vanessa: L'arte visuale in realtà è molto simile alla musica.

Io nel 2010 (mio marito è un esperto di musica...) e lui mi

ha fornito tantissima musica.

Mattia: ringraziamo Carl che ci ha suggerito la musica di

sottofondo

Vanessa: Io ascoltando la musica e meditando giorno e notte

nel 2010 ho trovato proprio l'artista Vanessa e ho 

scoperto che i colori fanno lo stesso effetto della musica.

La musica può cambiare completamente il nostro umore,

la nostra emozione. E così i colori fanno lo stesso. I colori

sono la musica trasformata in luce.

Mattia: Quindi musica, arte, giovani e speranza è la formula

giusta per cambiare il mondo.

Insomma, Calciocaffé è il nuovo biglietto da visita della nostra

società che sta vivendo una fase di profondo rinnovamento

e che si pone l'obiettivo di rendere sempre più gradevoli

e rilassanti i nostri incontri.

This is the translation of the Web TV on YouTube Venerdì Bianco Azzurro, where I was interviewed by the presenter Mattia Di Vivona:

Mattia: The Young and The Hope, this is the title of this artwork,

a title that is important and significant because this place

is a temple of youth, this place is visited every day

by many young people that play football in the

football school CoianoSantaLucia.

Vanessa: My artwork emerges from the artist that I am

art is first of all a work of consciousness

and I from an early age have been a natural meditator.

Artists have a path of self-recognition to do

that is as important as the recognition that may come from

outside, from other people.

And specially in a city… a beautiful city like Prato, but

a place with strong industrial traditions, for a person can be

particularly difficult to recognize her true identity of artist.

And this is particularly true for a woman.

In my family there are artistic roots, but these artistic roots

have been hidden.

My grandfather was a natural artist, he painted frescoes,

but he had to renounce to his attitude,

even my mother could have been an artist, specially

now I can see that she could have been an artist.

And the same attitude I can recognize in myself.

But before to arrive to the expression of this art,

before to give the right dignity and recognition to

the work of art I had to do a work of self-discovery

and self recognition.

I must say that very often artists are ignored

and they are mistaken for something else…

artists are meditators and a silent person,

a person that observes in silent and meditates is

often seen as someone weird.

From my childhood I always thought to a few things

and these few things were the peace in the world

and the human rights.

And these things I always said.

I remember that even in the primary school I was

always thinking and writing about these things.

My life has been a continuing artistic research

and this life as artistic research become evident even

to myself. And this happened in 2010, that year

I felt a great passion. I always did drawings, but from

that year I really felt the passion of art, I couldn't stop

to make drawings. I was making a lot of drawings

because I felt that I had a lot of things to say.

I wanted to express messages of peace,

messages of friendship and brotherhood,

equality and mutual respect between men and women.

I said to myself: those things have to be said,

they are messages that are important to say,

those messages arrive from the consciousness,

because art is a work of consciousness,

When I talk about art I talk about messages

that I receive as a channel, the artist is a channeler

that receives messages from the consciousness, and

consciousness is common to all the human beings,

consciousness connects us all.

I receive these messages, I treat them with respect,

because artistic messages are important, and the

expression of these messages became more simple

and more significant since when I discovered the

digital media. That was a pivotal moment in my artistic

life because till that moment I used mostly arcylic

colors, but even simple fiber pens… because from

2010 I truly needed to make drawings, so I did

drawings with whatever thing I found to use… fiber

pens, ball pens, everything.

But the discovery thanks to my husband Carl (Carl's family

is a family with great traditions in art and photography) of the

digital graphic softwares, and from that moment I mostly

did digital art.

Even this artwork is made with a digital art

software that allows me

to trace lines normally as I used to do before. My way

of art is very graphic, actually people suggested me to

do… and I also attended, course of graphic art as for example

the acquaforte course, but my energy is very immediate and this

digital media consents me to express colors that are

magnificent because they arrive from the light.

Mattia: I would add that they are direct colors, bold colors…

Vanessa: Yes because the electric energy, the light, my picture born

in my fantasy, I am an artist that work a lot with the fantasy

in 2010 I did a year of meditation, I meditated day and night

and I saw that my mind could receive many messages, colors,

shapes. And my work of art is expressed through this thing of drawing,

colors and trough symbols

because my pictures are very symbolic.

Really I draw always few themes and symbols,

I depict coulpes because a couple for me is symbol of respect,

love and friendship between man and woman,

I draw young people, I prevalently

draw young people because the soul is ageless.

Really I can see young people in every person.

In this case I depicted the world because it is here that we live

all together. This work is done with the color purple that for me

is the color of spirituality, a spirituality without labels

that comprehend everyone

and every culture. My art is open to all the cultures. And so

this color purple, the rainbow that is the peace and friendship,

the heart that represents the feelings.

As artist I am very content because to meet a person like Roberta,

a person that can see my art because Roberta is an artist herself!

Because… telling the truth… only an artist can see another artist.

I am very content because one of my creation is in a place that

is visited by many young people and I know that colors

transmit messages even without words, because colors

are elementary forms of meditation and only looking

a color we can feel a synthony about certain values and feelings.

Mattia: I can say that… I can confirm that because very often

I am in this bar, every week I am here, but since when

there is this artwork of yours and was changed the color of the

counter it is possible to feel another energy here, the energy of

this bar is totally different because of this color white and this

artwork with so strong and bold colors.

I think that you meant to reach this goal.

Vanessa: yes, really visual art is very similar to music in fact

my husband Carl is a music expert and gave me a lot of music to listen.

Mattia: and I say here that the music in the background was suggested

by Carl

Vanessa: In 2010 listen to the music and meditating

I discovered the artist called Vanessa, and I also discovered

that colors give the same effect than music.

Music can change our emotions and so can do colors.

Colors are music transformed in light.

Mattia: And so music, art, young and hope are the formula to change the world.

Calciocaffè is the new presentation card of CoianoSantalucia

that is going throughout a deeply renewing time and wants to offer

a place for relaxing and pleasant meetings.
