Siccome questa ingiustizia è la fonte di tutte le guerre diventa essenziale mettere in pratica in maniera fattiva la dichiarazione universale dei diritti umani.
Chi ha timore di un governo mondiale vero e proprio, un organismo di governo funzionante alla luce del sole, forse non si rende conto che un "governo mondiale" ce l'abbiamo già. Solo che è un organismo nascosto su cui i cittadini del mondo non hanno nessun controllo.
Sotto l'apparente caos che governa le relazioni internazionali ci sono gruppi di interesse che di fatto stanno già stanno governando il globo.
C'è bisogno di istituzioni mondiali che mettano un freno alla violazione dei diritti umani e alla distruzione dell'ambiente: ambiente che è la vera ricchezza che sostiene la vita di tutti noi.
Ovviamente queste istituzioni mondiali devono essere pensate con tutti i pesi e contrappesi che caratterizzano i principi irrinunciabili della democrazia.
È giusto che questo governo planetario sia un organismo che permetta l'esistenza di Paesi con tradizioni culturali differenti.
Ma è essenziale stabilire dei principi - basati sulla dichiarazione universale dei diritti umani - che tutti possano e debbano rispettare.
Credetemi, nella situazione esistente succede che il pianeta è in mano a gruppi di potere che operano largamente in segretezza, gruppi che purtroppo vedono l'economia come basata sullo sfruttamento. In ultima istanza siamo in mano a gruppi di potere che avallano l'uso della violenza e della prepotenza.
Abbiamo bisogno di un parlamento e di un governo che operino a livello mondiale. Parlamento di cui almeno una parte deve essere eletta con suffragio universale femminile e maschile su base planetaria.
Questi organismi di governo planetario avranno il compito di vigilare sul rispetto dei diritti umani, sulla salvaguardia dei beni ambientali e sulla soluzione delle crisi umanitarie.
Questo Parlamento e questo Governo porteranno a coordinare le energie del pianeta in maniera che la competizione tra umani si mantenga sempre nel sentiero del lecito, della cooperazione e del rispetto dell'ambiente.
La prima cosa che queste istituzioni planetarie faranno è la registrazione anagrafica di ogni persona alla nascita. Registrazione che tutelerà alla nascita i diritti umani di ogni persona.
Ogni persona del Pianeta Terra sarà titolare di doppia cittadinanza: la cittadinanza planetaria e la cittadinanza dello Stato di appartenenza.
Le istituzioni mondiali saranno il sentiero verso un'economia basata sulla pace e sul rispetto dei diritti umani.
Le istituzioni mondiali faranno in modo che in ogni luogo del pianeta esistano le basi minime per la sussistenza: energia da fonti rinnovabili reperita localmente, acqua potabile, alimentazione di base basata sulla produzione locale nel rispetto dell'ambiente, servizi sanitari volti ad evitare crisi umanitarie.
Ci sono tante cose da fare sul Pianeta Terra.
Comunque ci sono anche tante energie che potranno essere dedicate al sogno di una vita di pace su questo Pianeta.
In the history of every advanced civilization always comes time to create a body of real governance at the international level, a global governance that give the priority to the respect of human rights. It is essential to avoid attributing human rights only to a part of human beings while other human beings (mostly those without money) are treated as commodities to be bought and sold.
Since this injustice is the source of all wars it is essential to put into practice proactively the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
Who is afraid of a real world government, a government body working in sunlight, perhaps he or she does not realize that a "world government" we have it already. Only it's a hidden body over which the citizens of the world have no control.
Beneath the apparent chaos that governs international relations there are interest groups that are already acting as a world government... in fact they are already ruling the globe.
There is need for global institutions that put a stop to human rights violations and the destruction of the environment: environment that is the true treasure that sustains the lives of all of us.
Obviously these global institutions should be designed with all the checks and balances that characterize the essential principles of democracy.
It is right that this planetary government is an organism that allows the existence of countries with different cultural traditions.
But it is essential to establish the principles - based on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights - that all can and should respect.
Believe me, in the actual situation happens that the planet is in the hands of power groups that operate largely in secrecy, groups that unfortunately see the economy as exploitative. Ultimately we are in the hands of power groups that endorse the use of violence and arrogance.
We need a parliament and a government that operate worldwide. Parliament of which at least one party must be elected by universal female and male suffrage on a global basis.
These planetary government bodies will have the task of monitoring respect for human rights, the protection of environmental assets, and on the prompt solution of humanitarian crises.
This Parliament and this government will coordinate the energies of the planet in a way that competition between humans always remains in the legitimate path of mutual cooperation and respect for the environment.
The first thing that these global institutions will do is the birth registration of every person at birth. Registration at birth that will protect the human rights of every person.
Every person on the planet Earth will be the holder of dual citizenship: the planetary citizenship and nationality of the state.
Global institutions will be the path towards an economy based on peace and respect for human rights.
Global institutions will ensure that in every place on the planet exist the minimum bases for subsistence: energy from renewable sources retrieved locally, drinking water, basic food based on local production in respect of the environment, health services aimed at preventing humanitarian crises .
There are many things to do on Planet Earth.
However there are also a lot of energies that could be devoted to the dream of a life of peace on this planet.
