Nella scatola dei biscotti - In the box of cookies

Nella scatola dei biscotti c'era un biscotto giudicato troppo piccolo, inadatto a stare in quella scatola di prelibati biscotti artigianali. L'allieva decise di gettare via quel biscotto. Nessuno ne avrebbe mai conosciuto il sapore. Il problema è che anche le persone spesso vengono trattate come biscotti: gettate via perché giudicate mal riuscite. E invece qualcuno avrebbe potuto apprezzarle.

In the box of cookies there was a cookie judged too small, unsuitable to stand in that box of delicious homemade cookies. The student decided to discard that biscuit. No one would have ever known the flavour. The problem is that people often are treated as cookies: thrown away because judged poorly managed. But someone could well appreciate them.

Scrivere il nostro nome sulle stelle, anche se ci dicono che non siamo abbastanza bravi. Diciamo che la mediocrità non si addice a noi. Cammineremo tra le nuvole, faremo il pane con la farina celeste e l'acqua della pioggia. Non ci perderemo. La nostra anima splenderà in eterno.

Write our name on the stars, even if they tell us that we're not good enough. We say that mediocrity is not suited to us. We will walk in the clouds, we'll make the bread with the celestial flour and the rain water. There we won't loose. Our souls will shine forever.

It is a quite hard work to fix on the paper something that goes beyond words, the gratitude to be alive, the concern about doing the best that is possible, the thinking about give to others what I feel mine but I know also to be useful to other brothers and sisters. Because to born with this kind of strong spirituality must have a reason. I am also very humble because I know that every person is different and has a different path and even source of personal illumination. I am only certain about one thing: I'd like to see less violence on Planet Earth. Peace and Love dear readers, I'm sure that many people with strong will of Peace are present now on Dear Mother Earth. Let's pray our collective Consciousness to find new paths to express our human intelligences, a path that gives enough freedom to people without destroy the environment. A path based on love and gratitude, share and care. We need to feed each other mouths and souls with extreme tact, because Life is a precious gift and we can receive more blessings if this gift become a path of Love and Understanding. Humanity needs to find new paths where every person is sure to feel at home in any place on Earth. Feeling at home means feel safe, feeling that we won't be someone's prey. It is possible to realize even on this "material plane" a kind of existence where Life is respected and someone's victory doesn't mean  destruction and fear for someone else. Being Human means first of all to be Citizen of the World. Obviously it is beautiful to treasure traditions and memories but without become fanatic of a nation or ideology. Every human being is arriving to his/her Universal Roots. This means that traditions are on Universal Scale and the reason that move us humans to conflicts are very bland indeed. Every Person is a Universe to discover. The key is not in the conformity of the brainwashing, but in the blossoming of every person's individuality. Conformity prepares to conflicts and divisions. Individuality with the inner limit of respect towards other people and environment is the path to our common radiant future on Planet Earth.
