The Cross Pendant - Il pendente a Croce

And here I am with my cross pendant, the one I made today. I must say that this pendant has given me a day of great peace... certainly it is an important symbol, especially when I think that I had to realize it driven by a great desire. The white resin pearl is also a chance discovery... I do not remember where and when, but I remember well to have found it on the floor. This morning I opened my boxes of beads... I have many... wood, resin, of various colors and materials... but my choice fell on this... a pearl in white and glossy resin but non-transparent that one day I picked up from the ground.

Ed eccomi con il mio pendente a croce, quello che ho fatto oggi. Devo dire che questa collana mi ha regalato una giornata di grande serenità... indubbiamente si tratta di un simbolo importante, specialmente se penso che ho dovuto realizzarla spinta da un grande desiderio. La perla in resina bianca è inoltre un ritrovamento casuale... non mi ricordo dove e quando, ma ricordo bene di averla trovata per terra. Stamani ho aperto le mie scatole di perline... ne ho tante... di legno, di resina, di vari colori e materiali... ma la mia scelta è caduta su questa... una perla in resina bianca e lucida ma non trasparente che un giorno ho raccolto da terra.

Pendente con croce realizzato con fili di ottone e rame placcato argento, con perla in resina bianca. Avevo bisogno di fare questo pendente e ora ce l'ho.

Pendant with cross, I did it today. Made with brass and silver-plated copper wire with white resin bead. I needed to make this pendant, and now I have it.

La bellezza delle piccole e semplici cose: un anello di resina trasparente che avevo da tanto tempo... acquistato per caso insieme ad altri in un pacchetto adatto più a una ragazzina... eh si... ma il mio cuore da bambina è ancora vivo e oggi posso finalmente apprezzare anche questo anello.

The beauty of small and simple things: a ring of transparent and pink resin that is with me for a long time ... I had bought it for the event along with others in a package more suitable to a young girl ... oh yes ... but my heart as a child is still alive and now I can finally appreciate this ring.

One little thing that I love

Cari lettori, con questo post vi voglio semplicemente ringraziare per tutto il vostro affetto. Per questo desidero condividere con voi alcune piccole cose che mi aiutano a mantenere la mente sempre gioiosa. La mente è gioiosa se la focalizziamo su qualcosa di bello. Perché la mente è fatta per cercare la via verso la luce, per seguire il bello... inteso anche come virtù, come luce. Non importa quelle che possono le condizioni di vita, la mente è come un fiore che si rivolge naturalmente verso la luce. Almeno la mia mente è così. La cosa importante è la decisione, la libera decisione di cercare la luce e di fare così... di seguire sempre il bello e la luce. Facendo così il cuore - che è molto più potente della mente - può trovare la via per aprire il sentiero e proseguire il cammino.

 Dear readers, with this post I just want to thank you for all of your affection. For this I wish to share with you some little things that help me to keep my mind always joyful. The mind is joyful if we focus on something beautiful. Because the mind is made to seek the path towards the light, to follow the beauty... also as a virtue, as light. No matter what may be the living conditions, the mind is like a flower that turns naturally towards the light. At least my mind is so. The important is the decision, the free decision to do so, to turn naturally towards the light. And the heart - that is much more powerful than the mind - can find the way to open the path and go forward.

Una delle cose che mi piacciono di più è fare i gioielli con le mie mani... queste due collane di perline di vetro, per esempio, sono fatte da me. Un tempo quando potevo muovermi giravo per i mercatini dell'usato e compravo collane rotte... poi mi divertivo a riassemblare le pietre a piacimento. Un bello svago che consiglio a tutte! La collana verde è fatta di mezzi cristalli Boemia, di vetri soffiati artigianali che sembrano giada e anche di 4 perle di giada imperiale vera! Quando ho potuto trovare quelle 4 perle di giada imperiale ho realizzato tutta la collana verde intorno a loro!


 One of the things I like the most is to make jewels with my hands ... these two necklaces of glass beads, for example, are made by me. Time ago, when I could move, I turned to flea markets and bought broken necklaces... then I enjoyed reassembling the stones at will. A beautiful recreation that I recommend to all! The green necklace is made of  Bohemian crystal beads, of handcrafted blown glass that look like jade and even 4 genuine imperial jade beads! When I could find those four imperial jade beads I made the whole green necklace around them!
